Metro Exodus review

Metro Exodus is an action-adventure shooter developed by 4A Games and published by Deep Silver. It is the third installment in the Metro video game series, based on Dmitry Glukhovsky's novels. The game follows protagonist Artyom as he leads a group of Spartan Rangers on an epic journey across post-apocalyptic Russia in search of a new life. Players must survive against mutants, hostile humans, and other dangers while scavenging for resources and crafting weapons to use against their enemies.  

Graphics

The graphics of Metro Exodus are pretty stunning, featuring realistic environments that capture the atmosphere of the post-apocalyptic world. From dark underground tunnels to vast open landscapes, players are treated to impressive visuals that draw them further into this immersive experience. Character models are also detailed and lifelike, creating a truly believable experience for players as they traverse through this strange land.  

Gameplay

Gameplay in Metro Exodus focuses heavily on survival elements such as scavenging for resources, crafting items from materials found around the environment and engaging various enemies throughout Artyom’s journey across Russia. It can be replayed multiple times at different difficulty levels, allowing players to take on new challenges each time they play it again. Additionally, plenty of side content, such as optional missions scattered throughout Russia, can be completed after completing main storyline missions, adding even more depth and variety to this already rich experience.
